Who Really Cares?...

Note to self: Stop complaining because don't nobody wanna hear that sh*t...

I've come to notice that people have a low tolerance for complaining, bitterness and discontent from others.  At first, you may experience genuine concern or support from friends, family and coworkers during a trialsome time, but as the problem persists, often I find that people begin to grow weary of the "whoa is me" mentality.  Eventually, you earn the reputation for being weak, incapable and even labled a kill-joy.

Solution? Fake it till you feel it.  During a hard day it's easy to reply to "How are you?" with the truth: "I'm terrible and here is the laundry list of what's wrong with me NOW..." However, sometimes it pays to ditch the complaining in favor of a more positive attitude.  Most people rarely want to know about your well being and ask as a courtesy or formality. Replying "I'm well, and you?" does wonders for your overall mood, forcing your own attention away from the negative.  With a focus on projecting good energy, you might even reflect some back until you actually DO feel "well".

I'm just sayin...
